The N42 Neodymium D40 Thread Magnet has quite the Pulling force to steel, of approximately 28kg. The adhesive force of the thread magnet is increased due to its steel casing on direct contact with a thick iron surface. Should the contact surface, be painted, or rough, or a thin steel plate for example, the magnetic pull force will not be as strong.

The exposed magnetic surface area of our D40 Thread magnet is 40mm, with the height of its casing being 50mm

The second largest thread in the range is an imposing tool for retrieval.Used across the mechanical, engineering and mining industries but not limited to these alone. 

With its 28kg pulling force there are few things this thread can’t retrieve based on its diameter.
