FERRITE Round Base Magnet 50

Our ferrite round base magnets are also commonly known as cup magnets, holding or holder magnets or even shallow pot or just pot magnets.
Encased in a nickel plated steel cup, this Ferrite ring inside has an outer diameter of 45mm an inner diameter of 22mm and a thickness of 7mm, which would ordinarily have an approximate pull force of 9.38Kg (That approximation of this ferrite ring is based on flush contact with a thick, clean steel plate whereby the magnets pull is directly parallel to the magnet itself and not at a 90° angle). With pot magnets, the ring magnet embedded in the steel pot acts to redirect the magnetic field lines toward the contact surface, thereby causing the magnetic force to be concentrated on the exposed face of the magnet, which then in turn allows this magnet to have a pull force of 9.4Kg, the power of compaction. The Steel casing also acts to protect the magnet from chips, cracks and breakages.

Ferrite Round Base Applications

These pot magnets have a hole through their center, for various mounting applications, where one can fix a screw, eyebolt, hook…
Funnily enough, these magnets are also called holding or holder magnets due to their obvious uses of holding various items.
Because of their flexibility and simple facility Ferrite pot magnets are often used where instant fixing is required. These fixing magnets are so versatile due to the hole through the center of the steel cup that encases them. Giving them so many added applications such as mounting purposes in offices, warehouses, learning centers …
