Fishing Magnet 75mm

Magnet Fishing is made of N42 neodymium magnet encased in a steel cup, which increases the magnetic force by incredibly (2.5-4 times for the same size of naked magnet) .At the same time, the steel casing protects the neodymium magnet against chipping and cracking during grabbing and clamping.
This 75mm Fishing Magnet – the 75mm – refers to the diameter of the magnet – is a one-sided magnet – giving you a pull force of….220Kg, allows for an extreme clam! These heavy duty magnets are great for retrieval, recovery, Holding, Mounting, and Fixing Applications as well as magnet fishing.

This big boy has been seen taking on mopeds, outboard motors and larger weight materials.

As with all our Fishing Magnets – Made with a grade N42 NdFeB magnet and low carbon steel, super shining and durable Ni-coating, which gives the magnet a protective layer, therefore preventing damage to the internal magnets, allowing not only outdoor use, moreover making this magnet ideally suited for use in water – fresh and salt.

How do you fish with magnets? Why is it becoming so popular? And what do people find?
Tie a rope, we recommend a stretchable mountaineering rope that has a higher than 230kg break force but also gives you some elasticity in the pulling force, onto the eye-bolt of your magnet and throw it in the water. If you’re lucky, it will attract something that you can haul out and take home.
Part environmentalism, part treasure hunting –  part of the appeal is ecological – removing “junk” from water – cleaning up a dam, making a river safer to swim in…..There is also the fun of fishing without harming any fish.

It has an eye bolt loop that is attached to the inside of the casing for extra strength and prevents detachment while in use, also the loop attached is a better option to attach your rope or cable too, without the risk of it coming off. Fishing magnets are designed to be used under water, being encased in a super strong  nickel coating that is composed of three layers, nickel-copper-nickel.

This type of coating is the most widely used and provides protection against corrosion, sea water, fresh water and some chemicals. Knowing this, there are still a few tips on looking after your fishing magnet to get the most out of it:

  • Rinse off your magnet in fresh water after each use
  • Applying an anti-rust agent after use.
  • Avoid throwing your magnet into rocky waters and water where there are other similar hard objects.
  • After each throw – double check your eyebolt and rope.

Applications:
