Round base magnets are powerful Neodymium ring magnets with a hole in the center. Due to flow of the magnetic field being repelled off of the enclosing steel casing, these magnets work especially well on flat surfaces. The Ring Magnet is Seated in a nickel Plated Steel Cup to Significantly Prolong the Life of This Magnet. What sets these Round Base Magnets apart is that, because of their casing – the strength of the actual magnet is multiplied, furthermore making magnets with this design significantly stronger than individual magnets.

While the magnet inside this R.B is a Neodymium Ring Magnet with dimensions of : 45mm x 23mm x 6mm and a maximum pulling force of 15.15Kg to a steel plate or another magnet.
With that in mind, now placed inside a Steel casing or cup – the magnetic field expelled from the magnet repels against the steel casing thereby releasing a magnetic pull force equal to almost 2 times that of its original pull force. In this case that pull force is increased to 24.24Kg
